Honestly, this is just another example of how government meddling and endless foreign interventions make things worse, not better. Both Koreas are stuck in this hostile dance partly because bigger states—especially the U.S.—keep propping up one side or the other. Maybe if all these governments got out of the way and let people actually interact freely, there’d be a real shot at peace.
